Quality assurance recognized cooperation partners of European Certification Body
The certification procedure of the European Certification Body is based on three parts. All three together ensure that the certified product characteristics are in accordance with the European standards
The certification procedure comprises:
- Type test
- Certification
- External quality surveillance
Type test and certification
The type test carried out at the recognized laboratories of European Certification Body and the certification are exclusively based on the requirements of the relevant European standard. Over and above that, no other requirements need to be met.

The type test and certification of mechanical security equipment is based on the DIN 18104-1 and DIN 18104-2.
The recognized high security locks for installation in ECB•S certified secure storage units are documented in the Lock Guide ECB•S R01.
